Our attention to detail is what sets us apart. We check condensate drain lines and pans, and clean the evaporator and condenser coils at each maintenance call. We treat the drain line with chemicals, then vacuum and flush the line with water until all of the debris (slime and algae) are swept from the line. Coil cleaning is another additional service that we include in our maintenance packages. The cleaner these coils are, the more efficient and reliable your AC’s performance will be. We also check all system operating parameters to ensure proper airflow, current draws, and overall system performance. If we find any issues, we will bring them to your attention and provide educational information so that you can make an informed decision about repairing or replacing any malfunctioning components.

What’s Included in Our Preventative Maintenance Package?

Thorough manual and chemical cleaning of evaporator (inside) coil and condenser (outside) coil
Air handler will be opened, all slime and algae deposits vacuumed from internal drain pan
Condensate drain line will be treated with our proprietary chemical, flushed, and vacuumed to dislodge any blockages and/or deposits
All mechanical components (i.e. coils, blower assembly, drain pan (s), condenser fan assembly, electric heat kit, compressor, and equipment cabinets) will be inspected for signs of wear and/or corrosion
All electrical components (i.e. contactors, relays, and capacitors) will be inspected and correct tolerances measured and verified against manufacturer’s specifications
System will be reassembled and operated in both cooling and heating modes. All refrigeration circuit operating temperatures and pressures will be verified against manufacturer’s specifications. All electrical loads (i.e. compressor, blower motor, condenser fan motor, electric heat kit) will be checked and verified for proper current draw.
Clients will be notified of any concerns and/or deficiencies at time of service, and repair recommendations will be made
Minor repairs (capacitor replacements, contactor replacement, etc.) can be performed at time of preventative maintenance service for only the cost of the parts, no additional labor will be due
Full equipment assessment will be communicated to our clients upon completion of preventative maintenance service

				I called Cooling Dynamics based on someones' referral. I had my other AC company out and they fixed the dripping under the coils but it was still dripping and getting worse. When I called Charles for the first time, the owner of Cooling Dynamics, he seemed very knowledgeable and knew his stuff. You can tell he likes what he does and has many years experience in this field just by speaking to him in the first 5 minutes. He has his partner come out to my house for a coil cleaning which can get a little pricey as it's very labor intense (about a 4 hour job to pull and clean and put back). Well, the morning Joe came out to our house I get a phone call telling me my coils are pristine and no coil cleaning necessary. He just did a complete drain cleaning (more thorough than the other company) and it was a LOT less expensive than cleaning coils. That is the kind of honesty I'm looking for and why I'm writing this review. Joe is an owner with Charles and let me tell you....dealing with the owners doing the work is something you just don't find in too many companies anymore these days. What a difference it makes. I highly recommend Cooling Dynamics for either a new install or maintenance/repairs. Better than dealing with an hourly employee of one of the other "bigger" companies who just wants to get it done and get out. Bigger companies aren't always better. Very satisfied with Cooling Dynamics.

				Our AC stopped working over the 4th of July holiday weekend, and with a 5-month old, we needed quotes fast. So we get back from vacation last night and the A/C was not working. It was 85 degrees in the house. It was late night, so this morning started the mad dash to get someone here ASAP.The one honest handy man I usually call in times like these, was on vacation. So we did what every other neighbor does in situations like this, we went on Next Door Site 🙂 to see what A/C person our neighbors were raving about the most, and by a long shot, that guy was JOE!We called him assuming one of two things would happen… Either he would tell us that it was 4th of July weekend and he wasn’t available (perhaps not even take our call), OR that he could squeeze us in and come fix our unit… BUT If by chance he could stop by this morning, we were expecting to pay an arm and a leg for the repair. Since not only was this an emergency call, but it was a holiday weekend. Also, since Joe is not just a handy man, but a Licensed and Insured A/C Company, I was not expecting to get off without a pretty big bill.Long story short, option number 2 was the winner! We got lucky and he was able to make a detour between his next appointment. EXCEPT WE DID NOT pay an arm and a leg. Actually, considering how busy this man is, as evident by the fact that his phone did not stop ringing the entire time he was here (although he managed to take all of the calls in a way that did not interfere with the work he was doing for us), I really would have expected that his fee would have been much higher. Instead I got what I believe was a very reasonable bill.I strongly recommend Joe to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable and honest A/C guy… I would have no problem using Joe again and recommending him to any of my clients.
