				Joey previously did routine AC maintenance for us and we kept his card since he was so professional and honest about what was needed, as opposed to the previous quotes we had received.  After looking at the unit, he explained what was needed and why the work wasn't as expensive as "the other guys"...seems the quotes included charges for things we didn't need.This time when the AC stopped cooling, there was no need to "call around", we already knew who to contact.  I took a short video of the unit and the odd sounds it was making and sent it to Joey via text, with a short note that we needed his assistance....at about 6 am.  While I was expecting Joey to call later that morning, he actually had reviewed the short video and called back within 15 minutes and said he had an idea of what the problem might be, but needed to FaceTime to confirm.  After going through the steps with him, he stated that he believed it was the motor and it would take him about an hour to do the work.  Rather than wasting additional time (his and ours), he asked for a photo of the AC label so that he could be sure to have the correct part(s) on hand to get the job done when he arrived.When he arrived later that day, he immediately set to work and had the house cooling in under an hour.  As he had previously done, he also took the time to clean up the areas where he had worked....something beyond "normal" customer service....I would say "above and beyond".If you're looking for honest and dependable, then Cooling Dynamics is the company to call.

So we get back from vacation last night and the A/C was not working. It was 85 degrees in the house. It was late night, so this morning started the mad dash to get someone here ASAP.The one honest handy man I usually call in times like these, was on vacation. So we did what every other neighbor does in situations like this, we went on Next Door Site 🙂 to see what A/C person our neighbors were raving about the most, and by a long shot, that guy was JOE!We called him assuming one of two things would happen… Either he would tell us that it was 4th of July weekend and he wasn’t available (perhaps not even take our call), OR that he could squeeze us in and come fix our unit… BUT If by chance he could stop by this morning, we were expecting to pay an arm and a leg for the repair. Since not only was this an emergency call, but it was a holiday weekend. Also, since Joe is not just a handy man, but a Licensed and Insured A/C Company, I was not expecting to get off without a pretty big bill.Long story short, option number 2 was the winner! We got lucky and he was able to make a detour between his next appointment. EXCEPT WE DID NOT pay an arm and a leg. Actually, considering how busy this man is, as evident by the fact that his phone did not stop ringing the entire time he was here (although he managed to take all of the calls in a way that did not interfere with the work he was doing for us), I really would have expected that his fee would have been much higher. Instead I got what I believe was a very reasonable bill.I strongly recommend Joe to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable and honest A/C guy… I would have no problem using Joe again and recommending him to any of my clients.
